Before Flower Bud, there was Tony Vinella, an analyst by day and carpentry hobbyist by night.

Tony's love for woodworking began when he outfitted an old Ford Transit Connect into a camper van. Then, it became a side hustle as he took on furniture requests from all his friends.

In 2021, Tony decided he loved carpentry so much that he quit his job to pursue his dream!

He joined Etsy as 'Tony V Carpentry' to test out selling his furniture and home goods. His partner, Alexia joined in to help design some products too.

The light bulb moment happened one night when Alexia took a long hard look at the grimy keef-covered rolling tray on their coffee table and sketched out a “wooden lunchbox” that would neatly organize smoking paraphernalia.

Tony brought the lunchbox to life and named it the ‘Bud Box’. They immediately started selling, so he designed even more products to meet the demands of their fellow weed-smoking friends and customers.

The new cannabis collection was a total hit across Etsy and for local dispensaries, so Tony and Alexia decided to dive head first into the cannabis storage industry!

Flower Bud was born, and thanks to you, we're turning these humble beginnings into a real family-run business!
